Desembarcado desde Ecuador, el ecuatoriano Patricio Silva está deslumbrado con los ventanales que la oficina central de IMS Argentina tiene sobre la Avenida Alem.
A estas horas está acomodándose en el sillón principal para asumir como gerente general de Argentina, Chile, Uruguay y Paraguay y será la persona que reemplaza a Javier Lombar https://www.pharmabiz.net/?p=1057.
Silva era el gerente general de IMS Ecuador, a donde ingresó en 1996 y puso la piedra fundamental de la compañía en dicho país.
A su vez, desde ayer Lombar asumió la gerencia general para América Latina como comercial operations and supply management de la propia IMS.
Aunque no fue el único que asumió un nuevo lugar en la compañía.
Juan Manuel Santa María es ahora el director de Consultoría de IMS, reemplazando a Pablo Giménez quien se retiró de la firma en diciembre pasado.
Santa María se ocupará de la otra pata del negocio de IMS. Además de la clásica comercialización de datos, se encargará de diseñar proyectos a medida según las propias demandas de las compañías.
Mientras tanto, Pablo Giménez ingresó en el mexicano Genomma para desarrollar nuevos negocios en los mercados de Argentina, Brasil y Uruguay.
Hace un año –en febrero de 2010-, Ims fue adquirida por el fondo TPG Capital y el CPP Investment Board en una transacción que implicó u$s5.800 millones. www.pharmabiz.net/?p=2341

IMS: New general manager and a push of changes
